NATURAL FORMS
I take great pleasure in natural forms, seeking out images that appeal by virtue of their shapes, textures, arrangement or colour. Whilst one of these features may be the principal reason for the photograph, it is often a combination of qualities that attracts my eye. I prefer to photograph fairly close but not close-up; the field of view of my images is typically 0.3 to1.5 metres. I hope my images in this gallery will convey to the viewer the many aesthetic pleasures to be found in the natural world, pleasures that are often missed by the casual passer by.
